SOLID, SOLIDWORKS DESIGN
Angelica and Stephanie begin the SolidWorks design of the bin. They started with the Classification Chamber and the pre-existing structure provided to us by UCSC Grounds Services. Some difficulties were encountered, but nothing the duo cannot handle!
PRETTY SURE THAT'S ALUMINUM
The computer vision team have created a model to recognize Aluminum recyclables based on a Convolutional Neural Network, utilizing OpenCV, Tensorflow, and Keras along with the dataset of aluminum cans collected. Next is transferring the model over to the Raspberry Pi to begin testing and integration!
